9^th International Conference on NANOstructures and nanomaterials SElf-Assembly

Dear Colleagues,

we welcome you to the 9th edition of the International Conference on NANOstructures and nanomaterials SElf-Assembly 2026 (NANOSEA 2026) that will be held in Catania (Italy) in 2026, from 9th to 12th June.

Following the last edition in Marseille (https://nanosea2024.imm.cnr.it/), NANOSEA will be hosted again in Sicily after ten years from the Giardini Naxos edition (http://www.nanosea2016.imm.cnr.it/).

NANOSEA gives a comprehensive overview of scientific results, from synthesis of 2D and nanomaterials to properties, processing techniques, and applications. The conference aims to showcase the intrinsic advances in nanoscience, addressing theoretical and experimental approaches to understanding the growth and self-assembly mechanisms of 2D materials and nanostructures. The conference addresses fundamental issues in crystal growth, scaling, characterization, and quantitative material modeling to provide novel quantum-scale devices at atomic and molecular dimensions for applications in advanced nanotechnology, microelectronic, photonics, and sensors.
